Dearf, bushy and well branched. Covered in flowers from mid-July to September. The flowers are large and pink. Weather resistant and does need staking.

Sow indoors in late winter/early spring., outdoors in mid-spring, setting the seed very shallowly in good seed compoost or fine, well-raked soil. Germination takes 15-20 days at 21°C. Transplant when large enough to handle or thin out the seedlings to 30cm (12″) apart each way.

Ideal for cottage gardens wildlife gardens, cut flower gardens and coastal gardens.


I got these free with my Garden Answers subscription and am very pleased witht he germination rate. I have 15 nice sturdy plants growing in 7cm pots ready to go out and acclimate in the coming weeks. Looking forward to planting these out.
