A low growing perennial that forms a neat, evergreen mat of atractive small, round, dark green, toothed leaves. Numerous, outward facing, deep violet-blue, bell-shaped, single flowers are borne on short stalks sitting just above its foliage providing a long flowering display in summer. An easy and suitable plant to grow on stone walls and containers that dislikes wet winters.

Propagate by seed and by basal cuttings in spring.
We had this at mum’s bungalow on the shady side and it was glorious! This hasn’t flowered at the time of tying this, but I’m 99% sure I have the right plant. Just the two for the moment, we’ll see how well it spreads and if I need more cover I’ll divide and replant.
